We went to the BEST NYE party! Cale and I headed to Des Moines on the 31st and spent the night with Katy, Ben and Lily. Cale and Lily hit it off right away...those 2 were always into something (magic shows, covering Ben in clothes, playing with Lauren & Larry and chasing Carm around). Lauren and Larry were the live lobsters we had for dinner...I was nervous it would bother Cale to eat something that he just played with but he loved it. Me on the other hand had a tear or 2 in my eyes. By the time Ben put the lobsters in the boiling water I'm pretty sure they were ready to go...Lily and Cale wouldn't leave them alone....poor lobsters!
