Day 13: Ginger bread house

Well, today is Dale's last day for 2014.  He built a ginger bread house....it's not really want Cale and I would have done but it works.  Cale also received a letter back from Santa.

Day 12: Doing Homework

Well, Dale is in trouble (again).  This morning Cale saw that Dale had tore up some of his homework, and then crossed Cale's name off and put his name in place of Cale's.  So, Cale...being a little on the OCD side, put some of the tore up homework back together..."mommy, where is the tape??".  Before he got the tape, he let CoCo come up...she DESTROYED the stuff he had put back together.  It was all hilarious!!

Cale thought it was cool that Dale was zip-lining like we did this past summer.

Day 9: Shopping online

Well, this morning we saw that Dale had apparently used my credit card and ordered himself a new outfit....so, he's grounded.  Don't worry, he's not alone...CoCo is grounded too for pooping on the floor....TWICE!

We had a lot of fun this morning at the Waterloo Center for the Arts.  We did lots of crafts, had green eggs and ham, got to talk to Santa and the Grinch and finally got to play at the Phelp's museum. 

 

Day 6: Trying to put Olaf together

Dale was trying to put Olaf together...Cale wondered where Dale got Olaf.  He asked, "did Dale get Olaf at Target?".  I said, "I bet Olaf came from the North Pole".

Day 5: Reading a story to Penguins

Today, Cale found Dale reading a story about Pengs to a bunch of Pengs.

Day 4: Typing a letter to Santa

Dale had to take a day off because everyone in the house got the flu and it was the full-blown flu!  Things are much better today.  Cale found Dale had typed a letter to Santa and was so impressed that Dale snuck the typewriter out of his room.

Day 3: Streaks...OOOOOO

Dale went through the dirty laundry and found a pair Cale's undies...with streaks.  Cale thought this was HILARIOUS and can't wait to see what Dale will be doing next....he has a bunch of different ideas and guesses.

Day 2: Making Breakfast

Cale couldn't believe that Dale got out the cereal and he (Cale) didn't even hear him.  He thought it was funny that Dale got him out 2 vitamins.  And yes, Cale was a little tired yet.

Day 1: Special Messages

And so it begins...Dale made his 1st appearance on Sunday November 30th (a day early...he must have noticed that we have 7 Christmas trees -- 4 outside and 3 inside).  Cale was impressed the Dale knows our special messages (XO & I Love You).
