We ended our vacation on Thursday at LEGOLAND. Cale had so much fun because he was just tall enough to ride every ride but one. We went on every ride at least 2-3 times each.
We also went to the Pirate Cove show where Cale was picked to be part of the show. He had to help guard the famous pirate ship....Brickbeard’s Bounty. Cale helped defeat Captain Brickbeard and his pirate gang by squirting them with water.
Cale went through the Ford driving school (of course he passed...he was the fastest kid on the track) and the flying school (suspended steel coaster that lets you experience the thrill of flying.). Next we competed again other people in the Rescue Academy. We had to see who could to put out a simulated “blaze” and save the day. Cale and I came in 2nd.
We walked through Miniland USA....there were 9 different places/themes built out of Legos. Daytona International Speedway, Florida, Kennedy Space Center, Pirate's Shores, California, New York City, Washington DC, Las Vegas and Star Wars.
Cale's favorite ride was the Project X roller-coaster...we were in a life-sized Lego car. Cale even put his arms in the air as we went down the huge hill. He also liked the Coastersaurus roller-coaster. This wooden coaster curves and dips in and around a prehistoric jungle of animated and life-sized LEGO brick dinosaurs.
