Good listener

Apparently, Cale does listen when I talk.  A few weeks ago something happened and I said, "holy shitballs".  Cale thought it was hilarious and laughed and laughed.  Fast forward a few weeks, I guess Cale was having a snowball fight with the neighborhood kids.  They started ganging up on him with some snowballs....he yelled, "HOLY SHITBALLS!!".

Day 12: See you next year!

Day 11: Into Cale's Halloween Candy

Yep -- Dale got into the candy....Cale thought that Dale took the candy out of the wrapper so Cale could eat it....which he did....off the floor.

Day 10: Drank ALL the syrup

Cale couldn't believe that Dale drank ALL of our syrup....and he wondered how Dale found the straws.  Pretty soon I'm going to get caught.  

Day 9: Robe buddies

Dale bought a robe and slippers....just like Cale has so he put them out for Cale to see.

Day 8: Nailed it message from Dale

Apparently Dale liked how the ginger bread house turned out.  He used our favorite line on the chalk board.  Cale loved it.

Day 7: Ginger Bread House

Dale left Cale a ginger bread house this morning because he knew Cale loved to put them together.  As you can see, ours didn't turn out well.  Cale decided it looked like a tornado destroyed ours.

Day 6: Letter to Santa

Cale found Dale mailing a letter to Santa (in the mailbox Gramma gave him).  Cale was so worried about the letter because now he thinks Coco won't get anything from Santa.  

Letter:

Dear Santa, 

Cale has been a good boy.  But Coco is naughty - she bites me and doesn't share.  Love, Dale

Christmas adventures

On Saturday we spent the afternoon at Hick's place in Cedar Falls.  Cale and Kolby loved it...hay ride, laser tag (Kolby shot at Cale the whole time), cookies, making ornaments, meeting Santa and playing on the play ground.

Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

For christmas I was a DS and Let's Play School set and cool board games.  I help mom with the dishwasher.

Coco wasn't happy about Dale being in her area.  And he was wearing one of her shirts.  She definitely does not like Dale and ended up dragging him across the room.

Day 2: Quite the scene in the bathroom

And he returns again for a fun December!

Day 1: Dale showed up on a new friend and book....Cale named the reindeer "Puffers".

Santa & Fireworks!

We spent last weekend in Decorah -- shopping, eating, swimming, driving though a light display, talking to Santa and watching fireworks.  Santa asked Cale if he's been good this year, Cale said: "yes" and Santa asked, "would your mom say you've been good too?".  Cale said, "maybe".  :-)
