Pumpkin Carving

This year was the 1st time that Cale actually helped clean out the pumpkins...you'll notice that he is wearing rubber gloves. 

 

Gingerbread Haunted House

I found a haunted house gingerbread kit and knew Cale would LOVE it.  His favorite "holiday" is Halloween...he loves October.  I will say, putting this thing together was a pain in the cinnies (this is what calls buns).

Fall Fun!

We spent last Saturday at a farm outside of Wellsburg...there was so much to do!  We fed a ton of animals (goats, cows, camel, ostrich, donkey, llama), played in the barns, went through a corn maze...which took us over an hour and we never did make it all the way through (we cheated), went through a bean maze and a lot of other fun things. 

Harmart Halloween Hike

We went on the Halloween hike again this year at Hartman Reserve...it's one of Cale's favorite things to do in Oct.  There were 6 characters that told a story about nature. We also had cider, cookies and Cale helped make apple cider the old fashion way.

Fall Festival

On Sunday we spent a couple hours at the fall festival at the arboretum.  Cale made owl and butterfly decorations, a bird feeder, wove a rope, petted a snake and bunny, went through a rock maze (twice) and walked around checking out the 100's of different scare-crows.  His favorites were the witch, Gru (from Despicable Me) and batman.

Art Show

We went to the art show again on Main Street a couple weeks ago.  Cale had fun painting (and shopping!).  Here are my 2 purchases....love them!

Happy Grandparent's Day!

Hi...this is Cale.  I put this picture in the paper for Grandparent's day because my Gramma is AWESOME!  I love her lots and lots and lots.  I am also the one who wrote the stuff under the picture...it's what me and my Gramma always say to each other.

Watch out!

Cale loved driving the gator at the farm!  He kept laughing and saying, "mommy, I don't have my drivers license!".

Air Show

We went to the air-show today and watched some pretty cool "tricks". 

Booby-Trap

After watching the Goonies, Cale decided to set-up a booby-trap in the living room.  And yes, the trap caught me twice so I took it down!  Fun-hater...

T-ball

Cale was in t-ball this year...his 1st year.  He had 6 games and had an "ok" time...I don't think he liked it much.  At the last game he didn't want to practice before the game...I asked him why.  He said, "because you said I was doing a good job...I don't need to practice". Well, at least he looked good!  Yes, that's my motto..."at least I look good".  :-)
